I felt better associated with another attendees at the local level because of my experience at the overseas conference, that made me feel much more encouraged to guide our organization's initiatives. I too saw the value in bringing area leaders to my happenings in an effort to hook up my local work with the national and regional movements for social good. On the other hand, festivals may be used to get visitors and also have a commercial purpose, especially in terms of increasing revenues. Festivals have both symbolic meaning and industrial purposes. Thus, they also bring commercial and financial considerations. We might think about festivals being symbolic since they bring together a selection of activities which are associated by provided cultural values and pursuits. There are several components that play a role in the development of festivals. Some festivals exist just one day and over one weekend while others keep going a full month or longer. Only some festivals are organised in reaction to political or social changes. Many festivals include things like some sort of competition (for instance, a film festival), but not many of them do.

Some festivals have been with us for more than a century while alternative festivals have only existed for one or two years. Nonetheless, several festivals are meant to function as an act of resistance in response to recent historical events. These different facets of festivals highlight the complexity of theirs and the way we can't use one single definition or maybe description of what a festival is.

An event organiser / organisation should: Be a graduate in hospitality or some other related discipline. Become a member of the MICE Committee of the Indian Tourism Federation (ITF). Complete an internship at an event management company. Get a job in a reputed event management company as a trainee. Take up a program in event management or public relations.
